Bacchus Marsh Harvest Festival

The Bacchus Marsh Tourism Association will hold its annual harvest festival on Sunday 27th March 2011.

Harvest Festival Flags were displayed by the participating businesses.

At our Cellar Door, the following events will be  taking place:

Doors Open 11.00 am.

Free Wine and Cider Tastings        11am to 12 noon and again 2pm to 5pm

Free Face Painting and Plaster
Painting                                           12 noon to 4.pm

Lunch                                               12noon - 4 pm BOOKINGS AND DIETARY REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED.
WINERY TOUR                                12.30 PM

MUSIC BY JULES HUTCHESON      1PM -5PM

APPLE PIE JUDGING                       1.30 PM      (entries need to be delivered on the                                                                                day between 9 am and 12.noon and                                                                                collected after 4.00 pm)

LIONS CLUB TRAIN                        2PM -3PM


GRAPE STOMP                                2.30 PM

OTHER ACTIVITIES TAKING PLACE IN AND AROUND BACCHUS MARSH ON THE DAY

FREE BUS TOURS- BUS 1 TASTES  OF BACCHUS MARSH

( a unique opportunity to meet 4 growers- lettuce, apples/pears, strawberries and

vineyard. Tripod Farms, Jeff Jones Plant and Produce , Naturipe Fruits and Bacchus Hill

Winery.


We will be providing a special lunch exclusively for Bus1 and tag-along participants.

This offer does not extend to other lunch bookings and bus and tag along participants who

do not take up the special lunch option, will not be able to purchase lunch on the day.



Bus 2 and tag along participants will be able to purchase coffee and desserts. Lunch will not be

available. Dinner Bookings from 5.00 pm are available



Special Lunch : $20-00 per head

2 course Lunch- exclusive of drinks

Housemade veal and pork lasagne, served alternately with lamb shank on
soft polenta.

Lemon Tart served alternately with pecan tart.

Pre- Bookings and Pre- Payment required. Tokens will be handed out by bus driver before reaching winery. Tokens must be produced to entitle you to lunch.

Please note: Drinks are extra and can be purchased at the bar
Other lunch menus cannot be purchased in exchange for special lunch offer.
Other lunch menus cannot be purchased on the day ( this is in fairness to the kitchen who will also be coping with regular lunch patrons)

Dietary requirements required in advance of the day.
No variation will be able to be made on the day other than providing a vegetarian lasagne.
No difference in price for children
No special children's menu available.

BUS 2- Hidden Treasures of the West. Meander through the west of Moorabool Shire. Meet

a lavender grower, a lamb producer and a cafe owner. Yuulong Lavender, Field to Fridge

and the Mill Park- Group has the option to stop at Bacchus Hill Winery.



Harvest Menu- Coffee and dessert only available to this group- Lunch will not be available.

Dinner Bookings from. 5.00 pm available.
