Tasting Notes:

All our house pickles use Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Boundary Bend Victoria;

All our house grown products have been grown and produced as organically as possible;

Our philosophy is to bring to you the very freshest seasonal produce and preserved product using the very best of local ingredients, lovingly made using recipes handed down from the generations.

We are pleased to use and recommend Istra’s delicious smallgoods, made by the dedicated Jurcan family who produce their delicious smallgoods, using recipes passed on from generations of their family.

Our wines:

Our  Le Repaire de Bacchus Pinot Noir Merlot 2006

is a ruby red wine with a herbaceous smoky oak nose, rich ripe cherries lead you over silky tannins to an intense, peppery, lingering mild palate. A most evocative wine.

Our BHW 2007 Chardonnay

has a bouquet of rich vanilla and butterscotch which draws you to a lovely creamy texture of nutty toffee, almons, spicy oak and finishes with tight acid and a warm mouthfeel.

We trust that this sampler will tantalise your tastebuds and lead you along the journey which is the beautiful regional produce you will find at the Members of the Daylesford Macedon Produce and this wonderful area.

We look forward to always providing you with the very best produce, hospitality and experience .

Your Hosts, Bruno, Jennifer and Mark Tassone
