Winemaker, Bruno Tassone recalls his childhood introduction to wine production in Italy.

Bacchus, the Roman god of Wine, discovered the culture of the vine and the method of extracting its precious nectar for our gratification, and we are grateful for the opportunity to continue that tradition with skill and passion.
Our vineyard, located in the cool climate wine making region of Sunbury, Victoria is set high on the hills overlooking the picturesque Bacchus Marsh valley. Our vines are sun drenched during the day and benefit from cool breezes at night - ideal growing conditions for producing elegant cool climate wines with crisp, tangy acidity characteristics that are full of complexity and intensity. Our grapes are handpicked from hand-pruned vines, grown on high level river terraces and gully alluvium within a belt of ancient Ordovician soil - they make wines of great character and complexity.
